Lots of growth, no infrastructure

I can't understand why the county continues to approve major development like Viera with no infrastructure to support it. I guess they think as long as they grow the tax base, infrastructure will follow. It's a real misguided assumption. If the county doesn't rein in uncontrolled growth, the decline in the standard of living will drive people away and there will be less money to provide much needed improvements.
